About this maritime painting
The maritime variety of colors, shapes and the complexity of nature by the sea - its power, tenderness, its rhythms, its phenomena... - is an important source of inspiration for my maritime paintings. Here is an abstract painting with a lively character: the sea water, the sun and sailing boats on the horizon. The painting is a composition of these maritime elements with different abstractions. The strongest abstraction is in the warm colors of the clouds and the water, another aspect of the abstraction is the lateral dissolution of the horizon line.
