About this maritime painting

The maritime variety of colors, shapes and the complexity of nature by the sea - its power, tenderness, its rhythms, its phenomena... - is an important source of inspiration for my maritime paintings. Here is a semi abstract painting with a lively character: the sea water, the sun and sailing boats on the indicated horizon. The painting is a composition of these maritime elements with different abstractions. The strongest abstraction is the coloring of water and sky as well the painting structure, for which I have chosen a vertical and horizontal orientation.
